In questo link c'e' una campagna a sostegno di Keneth Foster,un'innocente che verra' giustiziato il 30 di agosto in Texas.
Sono venuto a conoscenza troppo tardi di questa campagna che manda in onda solo LA7 mentre le altre reti principali come CANALE 5,RETE 4,ITALIA UNO,RAI1,RAI2,RAI3,taccino spudoratamente sulla vicenda,per non parlare dei maggiori quotidiani e delle nostre autorita' politiche e religiose,che non muovono un dito o non incoraggiano alcun tipo di iniziativa o di appello.

estraggo la lettera che si puo' mandare al governatore del Texas,i tempi purtroppo sono molto stretti,a causa del silenzio informativo dei solito organi di informazione,tutti allegramente "in ferie" su questa vicenda umana.

Dear Governor Perry, Board of Pardons and Paroles,
I am writing you to ask you to commute the sentence to life imprisonment for
Kenneth Foster (TDC # 999232) who is scheduled to be executed on August
30, 2007. Although Mr. Foster did not murder anyone or know a murder was
to take place, he was sentenced to death under the “law of parties” for the
murder of Michael LaHood.
I have tremendous sympathy for the family of Mr. LaHood and in no way wish
to downplay the suffering they have endured as a result of his death. The
person who committed the murder, Mauriceo Brown, was executed for his
crime last year. The other two co-defendants received life sentences.
Kenneth, who was tried together with Mauriceo Brown, received the same
sentence despite the fact that he did not kill anyone. His death is neither
proper punishment nor a suitable deterrent.
Since he entered death row 11 years ago Kenneth has used his time to
study, work and pray for his fellow inmates. He is a source of strength for his
elderly grandparents, his father , wife and 11 year old daughter. They will
never recover from his execution.
Please allow Kenneth Foster to live, take personal responsibility for his
conduct and make appropriate restitution.
